Mark Burns
Producer, Director, Cinematographer
Mark Burns, a filmmaker with a keen eye for storytelling, has earned national recognition as a photographer, cinematographer, director and producer. In 2015 Burns completed a five-year project in collaboration with the National Park Foundation to photograph all 59 national parks as part of the National Park Service centennial in 2016. His black-and-white exhibition traveled to museums across the country. Starting in 1978, his early work included professional sports photography and then commercial photography.
He is honored to have worked as George & Barbara Bush’s family photographer for over 20 years. Director and producer of the upcoming documentary film, COACH PHILLIPS: THREE GENERATIONS OF FOOTBALL TRADITION.
Burns is also currently working on three additional documentary films with Lucky Number Eight Productions.
